How to get there
My workshop is located in the right in the middle of Upper Franconia, approximately nine kilometers in the north of Bamberg, in the small village Kemmern at the river Main. In Kemmern you find my workshop in a historical building (Mittelstrasse 6) near the church.
Car: motorway 73, exit Breitengüßbach Süd in the north of the motorway intersection Bamberg A70/A73.
Train: Station Bamberg (ICE-connection). With pleasure I will pick you up there.
Surroundings and sightseeing
In Kemmern und nearby there are many restaurants, beer gardens, and breweries. The surrounding nature parks Hassberge, Franconian Switzerland, and the Steigerwald invite for walking. On the Main you can canoe and in the thermal bath in Bad Staffelstein you can just relax. The Main cycle path runs directly through Kemmern past my workshop. Cultural highlights are the old town and the dome in the UNESCO world heritage Bamberg, Schloss Seehof, and the basilica Vierzehnheiligen. In autumn every year the annual guitar days in Bamberg take place.
